Taylor Swift’s new single “Look What You Made Me Do”  is sassy, bold, and completely entertaining. The singer talks about her “Reputation” in the song, (which is also what the album will be called).

One of her lyrics in the song features her reputation by saying, “ I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. / why? / Cause she’s dead.” Basically, she is saying her old self is gone and she has a new reputation.

In her music video, she references her past encounters with people who have downgraded her by saying, “I’ve got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined.”

I  love this song because her music video portrays her as what other people think of her, and that she is not her old self, but the “new” Taylor, like one of the Taylor Swifts in the music video. She is the queen of snakes because Kim Kardashian called her a snake.

I think this song resembles her strength and her growing as a person. One of her lyrics saying, “I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time,” references that for me.

Her new album will come out Nov. 10, 2017. Her fans should be looking forward to her new music and what she has to say.
